Mr. Philip Eappen, BSN, RN, RM MBA (HCM)
Completed the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore--one of India’s best for the health care sciences. He obtained masters MBA in Hospital and Health Care Management from Manipal University, also in India.
Mr. Eappen’s working career began with Marble City Hospital & Research Center, Jabalpur, as an intensive care unit nurse. He then moved to Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Science, Bareilly, as a cardiac intensive care unit manager. He also worked with the Medical Intensive Care Unit as a shift manager and had a chance to attend many major surgeries in cardiac and neuro specialty operation theaters. He later had a teaching stint at Shri Ram Murti Smarak School of Nursing, where he taught medical and surgical nursing for two years. He left the classroom to a neuro specialty hospital as an ICU In-charge. Mr. Eappen joined AUN in September 2012 after a five-year practice in India, and was promoted to In-charge a few months after. He has acted for the Director of AUN Clinic from January 2015 and from July 2015 became the Chief administrator.

Dr Fatai Salawu MBBS, FMCP, FWACP, European certification in Epileptology (Germany), FACP
Consultant Physician and Neurologist, graduated from the University of Maiduguri with MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) in 1992. He was best graduating student in Neuropsychiatry.
He is Fellow, National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, West African College of Physicians, and American College of Physicians. He had clinical attachment at Department of Neurology, University of Florida, Gainesville, in clinical neurophysiology in September 2012 and European Certificate in Epileptology. He has presented more than 20 papers at international conferences and has numerous publications in national and international journals. He is peer reviewer of more than 20 journals.
Dr. Salawu is married, a father of two, and enjoys tennis for leisure.
Dr Paul D. Manga, MBBS, UNIMAID; DDM, SPY; PGCUSS, India
Dr Paul D. Manga graduated in 2012 from the University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri, and has the following clinical qualifications: MBBS, UNIMAID; DDM, SPY (2014); PGCUSS, India (2015), an affiliate the Center of Jefferson Ultrasound Research and Educational Institute, Philadelphia, USA.
He worked as a medical officer with more than four private hospitals and was a contact person in Yola for the Society for Family Health for two years (2015-2016). He attended several of their meetings/seminars within and outside Adamawa State. Aspiring disaster manager, Dr Manga is a certified sonologist. He is married and is a father of one.
Dr Ali Abdel Wahab Ghazi, 52-year-old Egyptian from El Mahalla el Kobra city, is a consultant physician and pediatrician. He graduated with MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery) from Tanta University, Egypt (1988), and later earned a Master’s degree in pediatrics and neonatology from Zagazic University, Egypt. He worked as a pediatrician and neonatologist in Samanoud General Hospital, Egypt. Before joining AUN Clinic, he worked as a consultant paed in Kaduna State. Dr. Ali is married and a father of two, Salma and Mohammed Ali.
Figgi Sairah BSN, RN RM, MBA
Head Nurse, Ms. Figgi Sairah Joseph, graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2009 and obtained MBA in Health Care Management from Manipal University.
In India Ms. Joseph worked with Marble City Hospital as a staff nurse and Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, a 1,000-bedded multi-specialty hospital as a coronary care unit nurse. She also worked in the neuro intensive care unit before coming to AUN. She has attended conferences and workshops to keep up to speed in medical education. She is an active Basic life support (BLS) provider and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) provider with valid licenses from the American Heart Association. She also attended the critical care conference 2015 in Thailand.

Ms. Precious I. Akinbi RN
Graduated from the College of Nursing & Midwifery, Yola, in 2011 with a registered nurse (RN) certificate. She has attended the national nurses’ conference in Uyo (2010), Yola (2011), and Makurdi (2012) and the zonal nurses’ conference at Fufore, Adamawa State, (2011).
Ms. Akinbi began her working career in Galbose Hospital, Jimeta (2012-2013), attended the MCPDP (mandatory continuity professional development program) training in December 2014, malaria control and management training (May 2015) before joining AUN Clinic (February 2013).
Ms Hannah Noah RN RM
Graduated from University of Maiduguri, Nigeria in 2012 with the Bachelor of Nursing (BSc) and a registered nurse certificate.She began work as a nurse at the Federal Medical Centre, Yola; Valli Medical Clinic, Yola, before joining AUN Clinic. Ms Noah has experience in Public Health and Paediatric Nursing. She also trained in 2015 under the Continuing Professional Development Programme (MCPDP), Yola Chapter.

Ms. Alice I. Odey, BNSc, RN, RM
Alice Ishanga Odey (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) graduated 2013 from the University of Calabar, Calabar, in Cross River State, with a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree.
Ms. Odey, who hails from Obudu LGA of Cross River State, performed her mandatory national youth service in 2013/2014 at Itim Ukwu General Hospital, Afikpo North, in Ebonyi State. Since then she has worked at the Ultimate Medical Consultant Clinic, Calabar (2012-2013) as a Registered Nurse. Micelo Clinics, Abuja (2014-2015) as a Registered Nurse/Midwife, and Pathcare Nigeria Limited, Abuja, as a phlebotomist until January 2016
Mr. Joshua Nwambo Chidiebere.
Graduate Nurse, Registered Under the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Nurse, Midwife and Public Health Nurse, graduated from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nnewi Campus, Anambra State with First Class Honor in Bachelor of Nursing science (BNSc) and certificate in operation of Medical Data base and ICT. As an undergraduate he received many distinguished awards as the overall best graduating student 2012/2013 academic session Department of Nursing Science, Leadership Excellence award under the auspice of Nigeria University Nursing Student Association where he served as the President (2012/2013), Director of Academics (2010/2012). Worked as a Research Assistant between 2011/2012 with an academic merit award in Research Project to show for it.
He served the one year mandatory National Youth Service Corp between August 2014 to July 2015 in State General Hospital, Abeokuta, Ogun State, during which he served as the general secretary to the Medical Community development Services and was awarded as the Most Versatile member of the group. Mr. Joshua is also a Choral Co-coordinator, Music Composer and Conductor with years’ experience. Post service year he worked temporary between July and September as a Resident Nurse in Government Reserved Quarters in Asaba Delta State, before joining American University of Nigeria Clinic.
Mr. Sunday Ogbonna, HND
A certified associate member (AISLT), Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology), graduated from the Institute of Management & Technology (IMT), Enugu, Nigeria, with the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Science Laboratory Technology (Microbiology Specialty). While still at IMT, he did four months of industrial training at Group Medical Practices (GMP), Laboratory Department, Aba, Abia State (December 2003 to March 2004). He also had one-year pre-qualification industrial training at Ambassador Medical Laboratory, Aba, Abia State (December 2004 to December 2005). He served under the one-year mandatory national youth service between (July 2009 and June 2010) at Laboratory Department, Federal Medical Centre, Yola.
Mr. Ogbonna has attended a workshop on injection safety in the context of injection prevention and control for healthcare at Federal Medical Centre, Yola, Adamawa State (January 2010). His employment was with the Laboratory Department of Freedom Polyclinic as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (November 2010 to October 2012), before joining AUN Clinic as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (November 2012).He is licensed by the NISLT to practice as a Science Laboratory Technologist.
Patience U. Eze, Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife, graduated in 2013 from the University of Calabar, Calabar, with a Bachelor of Nursing Science. She did her mandatory National Youth Service at the Federal Medical Centre, Owo, Ondo State, in 2013/2014. There she held the post of Assistant General Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Corpers’ Fellowship. Immediately after the service, she worked with Bakor Hospital Ikom, Cross River State, as a Staff Nurse/Midwife for one year and was promoted to Matron, a position she held for one year and six months. She worked as a contact person for Society for Family Heath and Heartland Alliance Nigeria before joining AUN.

Jacob A. Dubo graduated in 2012 from the College of Health Technology, Michika, Adamawa State, as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Before 2012, she took part in the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme at General Hospital, Mubi, and Specialist Hospital, Yola, both in Adamawa. Being licensed to practice by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria, he started a career in 2013 at Sauki Medical Center in Jimeta before joining AUN in 2016. He was trained in Yola under the Continuing Professional Development program by Klenchex Nigeria since 2014. He belongs to the Association of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Assistants of Nigeria, which he currently serves as the Publicity Secretary of the Adamawa State chapter.
He is married and has one son.
Ms. Precious John, Registered Nurse & Registered Accident & Emergency Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, graduated from S.O.N. University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City, Edo State, in 2012 and SPAEN University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) in Rivers State in 2015. She was part of federal medical team of Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission to Israel in December 2014. She has attended seminars and workshops on Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life support, Airway Management and Disaster Response & Management, carried out research work on knowledge, attitude, and practice of standard precaution among health workers in the emergency department of UPTH (2015). Ms. John began her nursing career and practice with Fountain Head Medical Center, Abuja, was an in-house Clinic Nurse at Royal Mills & Food Company. She also worked in two other hospitals and Park House Urology Center, Abuja, before joining AUN. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, drawing/designing fashion catalogs, cycling, dancing, yoga, and gymnastics.
Joshua A. Matthew, graduated from the College of Nursing & Midwifery, Gwagwalada, Abuja, (in c/o University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, 2012- 2015) with a registered nurse (RN) certificate. He attended First Aid resuscitation course--chocking, CPR & AED--in Abuja. He began his working career in Dayspring Medical Center, Idiroko, Ogun (2015), and worked at Wuse General Hospital, Abuja, (Nov. 2015- March 2016), and Supreme Home Care Services, Abuja, as a Palliative Care Nurse (April-June 2015), and Premier Heart Hospital, Gwarinpa, Abuja, (July 2015-Nov. 2016) before joining AUN Clinic (January 2017).
Saliu F. Matthew graduated from University of Jos with a Bachelor of Nursing Science and Registered Nurse in 2013. He worked with Rainbow Hospital & Diagnostic Center, Abuja, as a Nursing Officer, Zenith Medical & Kidney Center, Garki II Abuja as a renal Nursing staff, Garki Hospital, Abuja, as a Nursing Officer in the ward and later proceeded to Kogi State University Teaching Hospital, Anyigba, where he worked as a Peri-operative nurse assistant at the Theatre.
