On March 17, New Foundation School (NFS) celebrated all its students born in January, February, and March.
The mass birthday bash was the first of its kind since the inception of NFS.
President Dekle, Dr. Lionel von Frederick Rawlins, and Dr. Jennifer Lofkrantz attended that first edition, described as colorful; and laced with interesting activities. The audience was enthralled by activities like singing and dancing competitions, a fashion parade and an apple eating contest.
Winners of the competitions received wonderful prizes. The NFS Fellowship Choir made everyone tilt their heads in amazement and appreciation as the choral group rendered a joyous song to the delight of the celebrators. The peak of the event was when the ladies of the hour received birthday gifts from the dignitaries at the party.
The party treated the celebrators to the traditional birthday song as well as cake cutting. As the event wound down, three of the 17 birthday girls gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the others.
