The WAC program embraces the concept of Writing to Learn (WTL). It seeks to promote students’ critical thinking and learning through implementing a more personalized cross-curriculum approach to writing. Writing Across the Curriculum requires every course to have a significant writing component in its assessment structure, and through it,  teaching, reading and learning goals are met through writing.
