September 26 is observed worldwide as Human Resource Professionals Day in recognition of the contribution of dedicated HR professionals to organizational growth. This year, the AUN Human Resource and Planning Department marked the event with a seminar aimed at raising awareness of the functions of the Human Resource personnel and how their work is critical to higher productivity, corporate growth, and employee wellbeing.
Some HR and Planning Department staff made presentations on various aspects of HR functions to organizational and employee development. Logistics Officer Mr. Goodness Chama gave a history of the annual global event and a review of HR practices' purpose, mission, and vision worldwide.
