University Administration
The Chief Executive Officer of AUN is the President (Vice-Chancellor) who oversees the day-to-day management of the University. The President is assisted by the Provost (VP, Academics) and four other Vice Presidents - Campus Life & Dean of Student Affairs, Administration, Finance, and Safety & Security. The Registrar, who is also the VP for Administration, maintains the integrity of AUN’s academic database and provides administrative support to the University community.
Each of the University's Schools is led by a Dean who heads individual academic divisions.
The University Librarian is the custodian of AUN’s famed E-Library and expansive digital repository. Other officers of the University include Assistant Vice-Presidents, Directors, and line managers.

Dr. Lionel Rawlins
AVP, Safety & Security OperationsDr. Rawlins holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the California State University in 1994 and bagged a Doctor of Management degree from the University of Phoenix in 2006. His areas of expertise include military warfare, counter-terrorism, business management, international business, leadership, industrial and maritime terrorism, satanic/religious cults, disaster/consequence management, law enforcement and gangs.
Prior to joining AUN, Lionel was the President and Founder of The VonFrederick Group, a Sacramento, California based counter-terrorism and criminological organization. As President of the Group, he identified terrorism, criminology practices, disaster management, and other conditions that have placed governments, law enforcement agencies, militaries, businesses, corporations and industries at unnecessary risks. Dr. Rawlins has a vast experience working in Europe, Africa, Asia, Central and South American, the Middle East and the Far East, as a criminologist and counter-terrorism expert, making appearances on numerous television interviews and talk-radio, discussing homeland security and terrorism issues as well as criminal profiling and criminal behavior. He was a United States Marine, and served in various capacities in the Corps such as Marine Corps Drill Instructor (D.I) at Parris Island, South Carolina; an NCO Academy Instructor in Japan and an Officer Candidates School Instructor at Quantico Virginia.
During his career, Dr. Rawlins actively got involved in the rehabilitation of teenagers. He worked as Executive Director of a Non-Profit Organization that housed teenage female gang-bangers involved in drugs, prostitution and extremely violent crimes. He also served as the Administrator of another facility for extremely violent adolescent boys with strong gang affiliations. He has also been Head of Security for major private companies as well as consultant on school violence, doing work for one of the largest school districts in Sacramento. He has written extensively on different topics bordering around security, terrorism, genocide and the ritualistic crimes of satanic cults. Dr. Rawlins is a member of the Toastmasters International, Golden Key National Honour Society, Alpha Phi Sigma, Criminal Justice Honor Society, and the American Society of Criminology. He is also a Board Member at the Sacramento State University and the Sonoma State University Holocaust and Genocide Caucus.
