Why We Initiated School Improvement Project (SIP) – Hajia Asma'u Abubakar, D/Director, AUN Schools
Several Alums, educationists, and stakeholders who attended the occasion at the Chida Event Centre in Abuja referred to the School Improvement Project begun and launched by the administration of AUN Schools as one of the most comprehensive and ambitious institutional upgrades in recent history. According to the scheme's brochure, the goal is to boost staff and student accomplishment by improving service delivery in line with global best practices, updating school infrastructure, and providing a comfortable and digital learning environment. The SIP, which consists of three phases – infrastructure, technical, and administrative – is an inclusive redevelopment strategy with a role for parents, school councils, teachers, and members of the community. On completion, the SIP will reposition the AUN Schools as the undisputed industry leader and a center of academic excellence in the Northeast region and Nigeria as a whole.

In her opening remarks, the Deputy Director of AUN Schools, Hajia Asma'u Atiku Abubakar, explained that the concept of the SIP is to improve the Schools' learning environment and provide access to quality education to a more significant number of people.

She praised the Founder for his foresight in establishing the Schools and his massive investment in equipping them to compete with the best educational institutions in the world.

"It is my pleasure to express our gratitude to our dear Founder for his selflessness and generosity, which have made this prestigious institution's twenty-year journey possible."

Due to the excellent foundation in knowledge, character, and patriotism that students received from the Schools, Hajia Asma'u Abubakar said, the AUN Schools have produced and nurtured some of the country's most brilliant and successful human resources.

She urged the graduates to sustain the passion for education instilled in them by their alma mater and to continue contributing to national development.

Hajia Asma'u Abubakar thanked her former and current students and staff, whose contributions have transformed the AUN Schools into a highly admired and respected national educational brand, and stated that the future is even more promising.
