The Office of Career Services makes available on-going services all through the entire period of a student's involvement with the University.
The Center also offers the latest career development information, assistance with the selection of a major(s), individual appointments for career counseling, information sessions from company representatives, internships and supportive education opportunities, job listings, mentorship opportunities, and workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and job search. All the services and programs are also extended to alumni.
Freestanding of academia, the Office Director has many resources at her disposal to keep current on the job market trends. She assists students with job search tactics and strategies and ensures that students are well prepared for the labor force.
Successful students are those who have been engaged, stay in touch, with the Career Office, play a part in career fairs and other extra-curricular activities and have contributed to some volunteer service. This type of networking takes along different kinds of experience and opportunities.
Mission
The mission of the AUN Career Services Office/Center is to support academic programs and to make available services that assist students and alumni in developing, evaluating and implementing career plans that lead to employment and lifetime personal development. The Office/Center serves as a liaison between the students, alumni, companies, institutions and other organizations, as well as government agencies all across the country. The Office/Center is highly committed to the preparation and promotion of learning, character building, leadership skills, and service. The Office also put together at different time intervals, Seminars, and Workshops, to help prepare students for workplace(s). These services are all also open to all alumni.
