Loveday N. Gbara earned his BS degree in Business Administration, MA in Public Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minnesota, and a PhD in Political Science from Washington State University, Pullman, Washington State. Dr Gbara whose research interests are in African Development and Politics, Institutional Reforms; Public Administration, Policy & Leadership, is currently an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the American University of Nigeria (AUN) where he teaches classes in Political Science, Public Administration & Public Policy, and American Politics. Dr Gbara served as the past chair of the Department of Politics & International Studies (2013-2017) at AUN.  Prior to joining AUN, Dr Gbara had worked for a number of financial and academic institutions in the United States for over a period of 25 years.
