Professor
Professor Maryam Ishaku Gwangndi is a Professor of Public Law from the University of Maiduguri Borno State of Nigeria. She was made a Professor of Public Law by the Governing Council of the University of Maiduguri on the 1st of October, 2016.
An expert in Public Law in contexts of Law of Evidence, Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, Criminal Procedure, and Civil Procedure. Has held many Editorial positions for many Peer-Reviewed Journals as detailed in her CV. She is presently a member of the Editorial Board of the Nigerian Law Professors Forum.
Professor Maryam Ishaku Gwangndi is a co-author of the Book Titled: THE LAW ON ARMED ROBBERY THEFT AND HOUSEBREAKING IN NIGERIA: A SURVEY OF ADAMAWA BORNO TARABA AND YOBE STATES, published in (2012) by AUTHOR HOUSE (1663 Liberty Drive Bloomington Indiana United States of America. Has also published a Monograph Series with ISBN TITLED: DR Maryam Ishaku Gwangndi (2010), ‘Gender Equality and The Status of the Nigerian Women: A Feminist Perspective’, (ISBN: 978-976-8407-17-1) Published by the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies Lagos-Abuja.
