Nankyer Sarah Joseph

Nankyer Sarah Joseph has over 12 years working at the American University of Nigeria in several roles. Nankyer graduated from the University of Jos, Nigeria with a BSc. In Geography and Planning, M.Sc. in Information Systems from the American University of Nigeria. Nankyer was hired as an Executive Assistant in January of 2012 in the office of the Assistant Vice President, Admin and Development, where she worked for couple of years and was later transferred to the Office of the Academic Vice President and Provost where she functioned in multiple roles. And at some point worked in the office of the Interim President.

Working as an instructor in the School In the School if IT & Computing, Nankyer also double as the coordinator, of Accreditation and Quality Assurance and is responsible for the supervision of all accreditation and quality assurance activities, while providing information to support institutional planning, policy formulation, and decision-making regarding quality deliverables as well as following best practices, processes and procedures.

Nankyer has a strong interest in investigating how technology can be used to solve local problems, particularly in the areas ICT4D, Women Entrepreneurship, Agricultural Information Systems, Digital Transformation and Gender- base, in the context of developing nations, and this is where she will be focusing her research theme, interest and investigations.
