One measurement of an institution's impact on society is the willingness of its alums to show up in solidarity to engage prospective students and anyone seeking information about their alma mater.
In that instance, the American University of Nigeria is blessed. In its twenty years of impactful existence, AUN has created a network of highly ambitious and successful graduates living their dreams and contributing their quota to national development across various fields and industries.
At the recently concluded 18th Abuja International Trade Fair, several AUN alums showed up to interact and share information with visitors. They were smart, outspoken, convincing, and engaging, precisely what the world expects of the finest of the American University of Nigeria.
Among the high-flying alums who joined Ms. Grace Passa of the Marketing Unit to share the unique AUN experience with prospective students, parents, and industry executives, Mr. Abdulkarim Isah Aliyu, an Economics Major in the Class of 2012, currently working with NIMASA; Miss. Muneerah Garba Umar, also an Economics major in the class of 2019 currently with Zenith Bank; and Juanita Bala, a CMD major from the recently graduated class of 2023.
The 18th ABJTF provided AUN the opportunity to showcase the world-class university. It was also a forum for attendees to witness first-hand the crop of bold leaders and problem solvers produced by AUN, giving the public, especially prospective parents, a glimpse of what awaits their children at Africa's Premier Development University.
Moments of pride for AUN and its alums came as individuals, parents of alums, and current students openly testified to the quality of education their children have received and are receiving at AUN.
