In a heartwarming display of generosity, a third-year information systems major at the American University of Nigeria, Mr. Mujaheed Zakari, has made a significant impact on the lives of several families in the Yola North and South Local Government Areas of Adamawa State. His kindness has brought hope and support to struggling families and students in these communities.
On October 2, 2024, Mr. Zakari reached out to students at the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) Deaf Center in Yola North, awarding tuition scholarships to Fatima Abdullahi and Ahmed Khalifa. Additionally, he provided tuition scholarships to two siblings, Al-Amin and Fadeematu Dauda Saidu, at Muhammad Shatima Academy, also in Yola North. In Yola South, Mr. Zakari generously gifted new school uniforms to four orphans at Demonstration Primary School, bringing a glimmer of hope to their eyes and a warm sense of support to their hearts.
In response to Mr. Zakari's compassionate efforts, Rev. Ruth Paul Ulea, Director of LCCN Deaf Center, and Mrs. Fatima Hussein, Principal of Muhammad Shatima Academy, expressed their deep gratitude, acknowledging the positive impact on their students' lives and the wider community.
Ms. Hadiza Abdullahi, a guardian to Fatima Abdullahi, on behalf of the benefiting families, expressed their deepest gratitude to Mr. Mujaheed and AUN at large. "Your kindness has made a profound impact on the lives of these children. Thank you for your support. Our children can focus on their studies, develop their talents, and build a brighter future. We are grateful for your generosity."
