A video blog created and managed by AUN computer science student Chinenyeze John-Collins Iwu is presently creating bubbles of excitement among young Africans living in the United States.
AUNwithCJ is the unique social media platform of this creative, dream-chasing Stallion. He shares explicit details of life in a beautiful University campus in Nigeria that offers the same American-style liberal arts education and exciting residence life experience as the universities in the US. CJ Iwu is a Nigerian born and raised in the US and has his parents living there.
Initially, the Vlog aimed to share CJ's life-changing experience in Africa's first Development University but has quickly become the destination for young people curious about living and learning in the well-provisioned campus that hosts a global community in Yola, Adamawa State.
"I decided to create AUNwithCJ for people like me. So if anyone wants to know what it's like to go to AUN, or even loosely what it's like at any African college from an American perspective, then I'll be the one to fill them in like I wish I had been when I was in high school", CJ told Laprogressive, an online publication.
A very determined and highly motivated student, CJ is upping the tempo by introducing a new segment to his Vlog. He calls it "We Asked AUN Students", which he hopes to use to capture more personalized shared experiences of what it is like to attend a quality university in Nigeria from the perspective of someone raised in the US.
