Four female students from AUN participated in a regional conference, “Gender Transformative Human Capital Development (HCD),” in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Jemimah Pam, 4th year Law student and Vice President of the Law Students Society; Nabila Hamidu, 4th-year ICP major and President of the Politics and Peace Studies Society; Halima Abubakar Mohammed, 3rd-year ICP major and Vice President of the Politics and Peace Studies Society, and Ufa Dania, 4th-year Communications & Multimedia Design Major were all at the conference organized by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), from April 21 to 24th 2022.
Only female university students with very strong academic and leadership credentials were selected to participate. The participants have since returned to campus.
