The American University of Nigeria’s Code of Conduct was emphasized in a recent report published in a national newspaper.
A feature story by the Abuja based Leadership newspaper underscored AUN’s zero tolerance for sexual misconduct, including the unethical relationship between faculty and students.
The report: Dating/Sex-for-mark: The Line Between, anchored by lead writer Tunde Oguntola, was published in the Saturday edition of the widely read newspaper.
AUN’s position was articulated by Vice President for University Relations (VPUR), Dr. Abba Abubakar Tahir, who explained to the newspaper’s Education Editor, Henry Tyohemba, in an interview, that the AUN Code of Conduct is strictly enforced and guided by due process.
