Four Yola community residents who recently lost their homes to fire have received relief materials from the AUN Community Service.

Assistant Director of Community Service, Mr. Ahmed Aliyu, presented gifts to the fire victims on March 17, 2020, at the Community Service Office.

He said it is the department's joint effort towards contributing and supporting previous projects undertaken by students.

One of the recipients, Ms. Hadiza Abubakar, expressed gratitude to AUN and the department for their kindness and support towards her family and for giving them an opportunity to live better.

The three other recipients of the community service intervention were Baba Obadia, Mariam Mohammed, and Ismail Isa. Mariam and Ismail recently lost their houses to fire incidents. The department decided to contribute to providing beds, beddings and kitchen utensils to set up a new home for themselves.
