President Dekle Receives Police Award for Anticrime Contributions

President Dekle has won the Commissioner of Police's award for her contribution to crime-fighting in Adamawa State. On February 12, 2020, CP Audu Adamu Madaki led his management team to the AUN campus to present the award.

During the presentation in the President's office, the Commissioner remarked that it was typical of the Nigerian Police nationwide to have an end of year award ceremonies to recognize and celebrate outstanding staff and honor stakeholders who have made valid contributions to the area of crime-fighting.

During the 2019 awards ceremony, President Dekle for AUN was one of the honorees selected by the awards committee. AUN fell under the category of stakeholders who have made an immense contribution to fighting crime in the state during the course of the year.

Welcoming the team, President Dekle pointed out that the job of keeping Yola safe is a joint effort involving all stakeholders.

During the 2019 Fall Semester, President Dekle had led her senior management on a courtesy/marketing visit to the Adamawa Command of the Nigeria Police.
