According to Dr. Frazier, staff salaries had remained unchanged for nearly a decade, even as the cost of basic necessities continues to rise. "We really care about you all," Dr. Frazier stated. "We will implement the salary scale today, all junior staff will see a change in their pay."

The President also highlighted the administration's commitment to fostering staff welfare and growth. He maintained that plans are underway to enhance career advancement opportunities and promotions within the university, and the Human Resources Department is set to introduce monthly awards to recognize outstanding staff contributions, ensuring a fair selection process.

Mr. Daniel Okereke, the University's Interim Registrar and Vice-President of Administration praised the announcement and stated that it is a historic milestone for AUN. "While other organizations are laying off staff and cutting pay, Dr. Frazier's administration is promoting employees and upwardly reviewing salaries," he remarked.

He thanked the university management for their dedication to upholding the institution's values and vision, aiming to bring smiles to the employees' faces.
