About the program
The Master of Science (MSc) in Information Systems program is designed to prepare students for the contemporary sophisticated and competitive digital world. It will equip them for challenging careers in the design, analysis, implementation and operation of human and computer-based information systems; and provide skillsets in all functional areas of human endeavours and processes. The program offers experiential skills in IT & business analytics, big data/data mining, governance, risk and control, IT strategies, information systems theories and concepts, information security, information systems management, systems analysis and design.
It empowers students with skills in IT architecture, design and implementation; and project management and collaboration. The graduate program in IS, therefore, presents technology as an instrument for generating, processing, managing, evaluating, analysing and distributing information to meet a variety of needs. It focuses on developing the students’ ability to integrate operational strategies and technologies and manage information systems resources in organizations while anticipating the dynamics of the IT landscape in order to propose appropriate IS solutions.
