Welcome to the School of Law, where we cultivate excellence in legal education, scholarship, and professional development. Our mission is to produce graduates who not only understand the law but are prepared to apply it with integrity, competence, and a commitment to justice.
At the undergraduate level, we offer a robust LL.B. program taught by distinguished faculty with extensive academic, professional, and research experience. Our curriculum is delivered through two departments; Private & Business Law and Public & International Law, ensuring broad and specialized exposure across key legal fields.
As we prepare to launch our LL.M. and Ph.D. programs in Fall 2026, we look forward to expanding opportunities for advanced legal study and research. These programs will deepen scholarly engagement and foster innovation in addressing contemporary legal challenges on both national and global scales.

The Department of Private and Business Law at AUN focuses on areas such as contracts, corporate law, commercial transactions, and property law. Department of Public & International Law
The Department of Public and International Law emphasizes constitutional, administrative, human rights, and international law. Through courses taught by experienced faculty, students gain a deep understanding of law in public governance, global affairs, and policy-making, strengthening AUN’s mission to produce knowledgeable legal professionals equipped to serve Nigeria and Africa.
