Law Faculty & Staffs
School of Law Faculty
Meet the distinguished faculty of AUN’s School of Law.
Together, they bring rich and diverse teaching experience that integrates scholarship, professional practice, and real-world insight into the classroom.
By blending traditional doctrinal teaching with applied learning, clinical approaches, and the use of emerging technologies, they create a dynamic learning environment that prepares students to navigate complex legal challenges and excel in an evolving global landscape.
The faculty’s research spans banking, labour, electoral law, security, humanitarian law, ADR, energy, human rights, and public policy, with a strong focus on practical challenges in Nigeria and Africa.
Their work advances governance, electoral reform, and institutional accountability, while addressing terrorism, conflict, and civilian protection. Contributions to ADR improve access to justice and reduce court congestion.
Research in financial and labour law supports regulation, economic stability, and workers’ rights, while emerging scholarship on energy and climate law informs sustainability transitions.
Regionally, their research impacts North-East Nigeria’s conflict context; nationally and continentally, it contributes to legal reform, policy development, and African-led solutions to pressing socio-legal issues.
