Iliyasu has thirteen (13) years of working experience in both teaching and research at the tertiary institution level. He taught some courses both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Currently, he has twenty-two (22) publications in peer-reviewed journals and eight papers in conference proceedings. His Google Scholar citations were two hundred and seventy-two (272) to date.
Iliyasu is computer literate and has a vast knowledge of Microsoft packages (word, excel, and PowerPoint) and other academic professional software such as Data Envelopment Analysis Program (DEAP), Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), and STATA.
