Alum Funom Restoration Hassan says there is no cause for alarm as they are safe and secure despite the violence in and around Ukraine.
Ms. Funom, a 2015 graduate from the AUN Natural and Environmental Sciences program, is Medical student at the Kyiv Medical University in Ukraine. She departed Kyiv, and since the Russian invasion has been in Hungary with her friend and fellow AUN Alum and NES graduate Hafsat Haruna who is currently schooling at The University of Debrecen.
Ms. Funon said some of the Biomedical courses she took in AUN were very helpful in the Medical University, especially in the first and second years while they were taking courses in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Medical Biology.
"I'm in 5th year and it's been fine before Covid-19, and now the war, but we are staying positive in the midst of it".
