On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, President DeWayne Frazier met with AUN alums in Jos to learn more about their experience during their time at the University.
The alums enthusiastically welcomed the President to their city and had a fruitful dialogue.
Law graduate Ms. Christine Ishanpepe Vihishima later posted on her social media handle:
"Today I met the President of my amazing alma mater, (Dr.) DeWayne Frazier.
We had emailed each other several times in the weeks prior to now, and I was privileged to be delegated to be his 'host' during his time in Jos as he toured around schools, telling the incredible story of the American University of Nigeria!
He gifted me a customized Nike Jersey, which I will cherish for a really long time.
I am so excited about his plans for AUN, and I remain privileged to have been a product of such an incredible institution.
Dinner was served, and it was a good day!!!"
