The first interim Executive Council of the newly formed Graduate Students Society (GSS) paid a courtesy call to the Interim Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, Prof. Chris Mbah.
The GSS interim president, Abdulrashid Iliya, said the meeting was necessary to strengthen the existing relations between the School and its graduate students.
The Dean assured them of his continued assistance and guidance throughout their program and looks forward to welcoming them as future faculty upon their degree completion.
He thanked them for their understanding that the graduate school works to refine and put in place appropriate policies and procedures for structuring and delivering quality graduate programs at AUN.
As its name suggests, GSS is an association of students enrolled in the graduate programs at AUN. They seek to foster relations among members and share career and job opportunities. They also organize recreational activities for members' relaxation.
