AUN Student's Heartfelt Gesture Supports Campus Janitorial Staff

In a heartwarming gesture of appreciation, Aisha Mohammed Kojoli, a senior, majoring in Communication and Multimedia Design at the American University of Nigeria (AUN), recognized the dedication of the University’s Janitorial Staff by donating essential care items. The surprise took place on Tuesday, 24th February 2026, at the Students Hub Administrative Office One.

Inspired by their hard work, Aisha explained, “Their efforts contribute greatly to our school community, yet they often go unnoticed.” She added that her gesture was a small way of showing gratitude for their commitment and service.

The donated items, which included detergent, bathing soap, and body moisturizer, were intended to support both personal and professional needs. “Recognizing non-teaching staff is as important as celebrating academic achievements, since every member contributes to the University’s success,” Aisha emphasized.

The Janitorial Staff expressed heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful initiative, describing it as encouraging and uplifting. The event served as a timely reminder of the importance of acknowledging those who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

Aisha’s initiative reflects AUN’s core values of empathy, leadership, and community spirit, demonstrating how the institution honors the contributions of all who help create a positive and supportive learning environment.
