AUN's AID Receives Grant, Gadgets from Waukee Rotary Club

The Rotary Club in Waukee, Iowa, generously donated a $1,000 grant to the American University of Nigeria (AUN). The check was personally presented to AUN President Dr. DeWayne Frazier. Upon his return, Dr. Frazier transferred the funds to Dr. Abubakar Sadiq Hussaini, the Administrator of Grants and Contracts/Deputy Chief of Party of the Atiku Institute for Development (AID).

The President expressed his profound gratitude to the Rotary Club of Waukee, Iowa, for their generous support towards our research on health in various communities within Adamawa state and IDP camps. "This $1,000 grant will enable our Atiku Institute for Development to make a positive impact on the lives of migrant workers and IDP camp residents. We appreciate the collaboration with the University of Northern Iowa and look forward to continuing our work in addressing global health challenges," the President stated. Similarly, the President also delivered two Lenovo laptops to the institute courtesy of the Jimmy Reyes Foundation to further facilitate the health research data collection activities.

Dr. Abubakar expressed his delight and stated that the awards will support AUN-AIDs' commitment to community engagement and research aimed at addressing global challenges.
