Dr. Rawlins Receives Environment and Safety Award

Assistant Vice President for Safety & Security, Dr. Lionel von Frederick Rawlins is set to be honored by the Environment and Safety Management Institute (ESMI) with the institute’s highest honor.


The Governing Board of the ESMI has also invited Dr. Rawlings to the institute’s 2021 Strategic Stakeholders’ Seminar with the theme "Tackling Pandemics through Environmental Safety" to serve as a special guest. At the event, Dr. Rawlings will be conferred with the ESMI Fellowship. A citation from the award reads:

 “Our distinguished Fellow in waiting, the choice of you joining the league of fellows of the institute is not just an honorary gesture but as a result of your pragmatic management and leadership style which the board believes will be more utilized by Nigeria and the world if we induct you in our fold. Fellows of the institute are men and women of honor who have done great works in areas of advocacy, administration, practice, and teaching of safety and best environmental management within and outside Nigeria. Your works have proved that you deserve to be part of them.”

The event is scheduled to hold on 6th March 2021 at the Murtala Nyako Center, Adamawa State Secretariat, Yola, by 09:00 am. Madame President and the entire AUN community are proud of AVP Rawlings’s good works which have not only earned AUN an impeccable record of community engagement but have also extended characteristic goodwill beyond AUN’s host communities.
