The Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences, Dr. Patrick Fay, has been appointed as the Chair of the Deans' Council.
A statement from the Office of the Interim President further explained that as the Deans' Council Chair, Professor Fay, a former Irish ambassador to Nigeria, will be handling all the Academic responsibilities of the Provost until the end of the interim Presidency period.
