Everyone at AUN knows what they do and appreciates how they do it, with zeal, zest and high energy; nonetheless the Student Affairs Department launched a sensitization blitz on the first day of classes in the Fall 2022 semester.
According to the Vice President for Campus Life and Dean of Students, Mr. Byron Bullock, the sensitization campaign aimed to create more awareness in the community of the Department's various activities. They handed out fliers welcoming everyone back to campus. The fliers, in vibrant colors, bore their schedules: The Dean of Students Office, Residence Life, Office of Student Activities & Involvement, Counseling and Psychological Services, Community Service Learning, Career Services, Study Abroad, Judicial Affairs, Academic Advising, and Athletics.
"What I want is for people to know who my people are, what we do, what Department we work in and see who we are. That is why we are doing this today", Dean Byron stated.
He expressed optimism that many would get to know what the Student Affairs Department staff and volunteers do.
"We are responsible for the overall development in student life."
Most people already know and love what they do. Is there any other reason why Dean Byron gets the wildest applause at all University events?
