SITC Hosts 15th Senior Design Project Poster on Friday

The AUN School of Information Technology and Computing (SITC) organizes the Senior Design Project Poster presentation every semester. This exhibition is one of the most anticipated academic activities on campus. It attracts visitors and tech enthusiasts from within and outside the campus. At the SDP/SRP presentation, SITC seniors wow their audience defending their work and in the process gain practice and constructive feedback as they work to solve a significant problem by the conclusion of the exercise.

The SDP/SRP exhibition represents a graphic illustration of AUN's core philosophy as a Development University where learning outcomes seek global best practices to solve local problems. Through their work, SITC seniors demonstrate the ability to apply scientific and engineering principles to practical problems in computing, software engineering, I.T. systems, and business process re-engineering.

The 15th edition comes up this Friday by 10 am and lots of visitors are expected.

"The Senior Design Project/Senior Research Project represents the single most important project in their BSc degree program. It is the one unique opportunity for students to solve a significant problem, working individually or as part of a team, in a specialized area of their major, deepening and advancing their knowledge in the field and acquiring creative problem-solving, independent working, research and presentation skills in the exercise" according to a poster adverting the event and signed by program coordinator, Dr. Ignace Djitog, of the SITC Computer Science department.
