On October 6, 2022, students gathered at the Student Hub open space for another evening of fun as the Badminton Club hosted a thrilling game. The event was designed to entertain students while also giving them the opportunity to hone their badminton skills. It did not disappoint, as there were no dull moments during the game's hour-long duration.
The publicity was also excellent, as students had already poured out of the residence halls a few minutes before the game began to watch and cheer on the competitors. It was a pleasant evening, and spectators sipped soft drinks and snacked while cheering on the players on the court. After the game, one of the players, Mahmud Modibbo, a freshman majoring in Computer Science, expressed his fondness for badminton. "I enjoy playing this game, and playing it on campus makes it even more exciting because of the atmosphere." Campus, students, and the organization It's a new and exciting adventure for me." Modibbo promised that he would continue to play badminton until he graduated from AUN and that he would become a mentor to younger students in the future.
Ms. Maryam Mustapha, a junior majoring in Communication and Multimedia Design, was also eager to play, saying, "Yes, it was interesting. "I enjoy engaging in enjoyable activities." Other enjoyable activities were also planned by the organizers to spice up the evening. Itekena Omuku, a senior majoring in Communication and Multimedia Design and known on campus as MLT, delivered an electrifying performance. Students could also play a variety of computer games.
