Thrills @ WET N' WILD

Thrills @ WET N' WILD

One would say the primary aim of being in school is to study, that's an indisputable fact. But, everybody regardless of their trade or occupation needs a little rest and more importantly good fun to cool off. As the saying goes, "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."

In the light of the above, the Campus Activities Board (CAB), on the 29th of February 2020, hosted a pool party at the AUN clubhouse captioned "wet n' wild." This is one of the many exciting events set up by the student activities board to help students socialize, interact with one another and take time out from school to have fun and enjoy themselves. There were swimming, five-a-side football and other games available for students to engage in.

As nice songs filled the air, excited students could not help but dance to it. Even more enthralling, refreshments were served, which revitalized students and kept the party vibe lively. The event was anchored by final year Information Systems major Toluwalase Olufowobi, who in his position as vice president public relations and advertising of CAB, made sure the party was one to remember. He maintained that the event was a vital part of student life that inculcates social skills in individuals.

Another participant, third-year petroleum chemistry major Progress Elijah opined that the event carried out the tasking job of bringing students together, for the right reason which is for students to relate and have a good time. The party ended with final remarks from the anchor. It was in itself a night to be remembered by the students.
