AUN Schools Elementary Celebrates 100th Day of Classes

AUN Schools Elementary Celebrates 100th Day of Classes

On February 20, AUN Schools (Elementary) management marked the 100th day of classes. The event had various activities to celebrate the pupils' accomplishments in the academic year.

The 100th day of classes in the academic setting is a milestone beyond the celebration. It is a special occasion to reflect on the academic achievements and challenges recorded by the pupils.

The Administrator of AUN Schools, Mrs. Nkem Uzowulu, rejoiced with all pupils in the elementary school through fun projects, refreshments, candies, photoshoots, music, and dances just as their counterparts in the typical American system.

"This seasonal feast is a way of celebrating the pupils for being hardworking and persevering in their academic pursuits."

Supervisor, AUN Schools (Elementary), Ms. Victoria Olosunde, said the occasion was a distinct manner of harmonizing the young folks with their teachers and parents.

The younger kids in the kindergarten classes get to create different forms of fun projects with the help of their parents while the older ones bring up something stunning on their own to express how they feel on the 100th day in the learning environment, she added.

"Imagine spending 100 days of your life in a particular class, it is not an easy experience. So, we believe it is important to know how our pupils feel as they proceed into a new phase of their career."

A group of four Grade 5 pupils, namely Aisha Hassan, Asmau Umar Adamu, Maryam Bill Hansen, and Aisha Muhammad who participated in the bubble sprinkling, blowing of the balloon and showcasing of 100 shaped handmade shields together with Mrs. Uzowulu and Ms. Olosunde were excited with the level of fun and happiness derived from the event.

Another Grade 5 pupil, Richard Yashim, said the celebration allows them to exhibit their talents by building simple projects to depict their emotions and achievements.
