President Frazier to Students: I will Be Your Advocate

President DeWayne Frazier has given an assurance to AUN students that he will be there for them. He also pledged to make students the centerpiece of his administration's focus and invited them to share in his vision for a brighter and more inclusive future for our University.

Reiterating the centrality of students to the success of the AUN project in his Acceptance Speech during his inauguration on November 25, 2023, the President said, "you are the soul of this institution and why we all come to work each day."

Against the background of his vast experience in higher education and as a leader who understands the aspirational and emotional yearning of young people, President Frazier pledged to dedicate his tenure to providing students the best academic and campus experience they can get to enable them to achieve their parents' and individual goals, dreams, and aspirations.

He said because AUN's main culture is, prioritizing innovation, pushing the boundaries of knowledge, and creating opportunities for groundbreaking research and world-class teaching, any dream is achievable.

He further said great things can be achieved through building strong collaborations with the institution's alumni, community partners, and industry leaders, and forging meaningful connections that will benefit not only the students but also society as a whole.

President Frazier expressed excitement and optimism for the future of this university, saying, he is confident that with collaborations with all relevant stakeholders, incredible feats can be achieved at AUN.

"Together, we will achieve great things and continue to be a beacon of knowledge, enlightenment, and progress. I am committed to upholding the values and principles that have been the foundation of this university. Values such as Excellence, Integrity and Services that permeates through the entire campus," he reassured.
