Dr. Sirajo Yahaya obtained his B. Sc. (Hons), M. Sc. and Ph.D. Degrees in Mathematics all from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria. He obtained a Professional Diploma in Education from the Federal College of Education Zaria, Nigeria. He worked as a lecturer in the Department of General Studies Education, Federal College of Education Zaria, Nigeria.
He was appointed as the Education Secretary, by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, in 2018. He published more than ten (15) articles in reputable journals, attended about eight (8) Conferences, and has several citations. He is a co-author in Basic General Mathematics for Colleges of Education Book I and II published by Concept Designs and Print Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, American University of Nigeria Yola, Adamawa State - Nigeria.
